Continually experimenting with new ideas and techniques — Reconstructing, Developing, Modernising.
Once again the Financial Times has come through for me. I have just finished listening to the backlog of Lucy Kellaway‘s podcasts, and I’m left in a state of eager anticipation.
I like the podcasts because they have a distinctive voice which resonates with my opinions about management and the behaviour of companies and the people who constitute them. I’ve worked for all kinds of companies from the smallest start-ups to huge consultancies and Wall Street banks, and the content rings true.
I love the podcasts because of their tone and vocabulary. It is refreshing to hear opinions of current management theory and practice use words like “rot” and “twaddle”, and it is delightful to enjoy the view from Lucy’s perspective.
Her podcasts can be found by visiting ft.com/podcasts. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
